Improving Communications would like to officially welcome Mark Fogel.

 

Mark Fogel is best known for his “HR with an Attitude”. His professional background is comprised of multifarious experience, including: CHRO at Leviton Mfg., The Marcum Group, and The Success Academy Charter School Network, as well as co-founding Human Capital 3.0 – a boutique HR advisory firm.

Mark has been honored nationally by SHRM as their Human Capital Leader of the Year in 2007, and by HR Executive Magazine as an Honor Roll recipient in 2010 as well as earning recognition for “Best HR Ideas” in 2012. Among other notable achievements; he was named one of Long Island’s 50 most Influential Business Leaders by Long Island Business News, and his HR teams have garnered numerous national and local awards for HR innovation, wellness, and employee engagement.

Mark regularly speaks and presents at national conferences on topics ranging from E/R to Global HR. Additionally, Mark is an Adjunct Professor at Adelphi’s Graduate School of Business where he has earned recognition for his teaching excellence. He enjoys creating and collaborating in an academic setting because it gives him the opportunity contribute and shape our next generation of industry leaders.

On a lighter, but no less important note, Mark’s philosophy of HR and business mirrors his approach to tennis – make that blistering first serve and the rest will fall into place. It doesn’t hurt that he has an affinity for 80’s hair bands…because, who doesn’t? Finally, and most critically, Mark is a diehard Mets and Islander fan.

Mark Fogel’s background includes almost a decade and a half as CHRO at Leviton Manufacturing, The Marcum Group, and The Success Academy charter school network, as well as co-founding Human Capital 3.0, a boutique HR advisory firm.

Mark spent his early years at Macy’s and Limited Brands where he moved from Operations to his first roles in Talent Management.

Mark has been honored by The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) nationally as their Human Capital Leader of the Year in 2007, and by HR Executive Magazine as an Honor Roll recipient in 2010 and “Best HR Ideas” in 2012.
