Online: Why Trust and Building Rapport Matters

Trust is the firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. It comes from a close and positive relationship in which the parties understand each other, their feelings / ideas, and communicate well.

People tend to listen to those they like. People tend to interact (do business) with those they trust.

When we have strong trust and rapport, people:

  • Feel comfortable
  • Reduce defenses / Lower their guard
  • Are able to overcome psychological barriers and move forward

We will cover:

  • Why trust and rapport matter
  • The role of trust and rapport in business
  • Can you measure trust and rapport?
  • Behaviors that build trust and rapport

This workshop will help you differentiate yourself and stand out in a crowd. Use this learning experience as a springboard to practice the principles of building trust and rapport so that you may become an even better person and develop more meaningful relationships.
