SPOTLIGHT: Vanessa Miller

Improving Communications welcomes Vanessa Miller.

Meet Vanessa Miller. She drives learning and development with energy and passion. When she leads a session, her big smile and warm laugh put everyone at ease. Vanessa actively involves people, making sure everyone speaks up and stays engaged.

Vanessa brings many years of experience running training both in person and online. Her skills come through the experience of partnering with organizations to design and deliver training that’s not just informative but also fun and interactive. She focuses on learners, helping them build skills and gain knowledge.

Vanessa is also a familiar face at conferences and workshops. She shares her expertise on communication, leadership, empowerment, diversity, equity, inclusion, and professional growth. Her sessions are known for being both useful and inspiring.

Before becoming a consultant, Vanessa worked for the Transportation Security Administration. At JFK Airport, she managed training for over 2,000 officers. She led a team of 15 instructors and made sure everyone stayed up to date with their skills.

When she’s not working, you’ll probably find Vanessa with a good book, on her yoga mat, meditating, or spending quality time with her family.
